I was raised in the Boston area and began learning to massage when I was about 5 for a sweet aunt with an achy back. Touch came very naturally to me.

I moved to Colorado Springs in 1992 and in 1993 graduated from The Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy as a Neuromuscular Therapist.

In 1995 I returned to Massachusetts and began a private practice specializing in pain relief. I wanted people to get the best results possible and became certified in many different therapies, including Active Release Techniques, Craniosacral, and Cupping.

In 2019 I became a believer in the effectiveness of Frequency Specific Microcurrent Therapy (FSM) when one session gave my feet 3 weeks of complete pain relief. My feet had been severely burned in 2002 and by 2016 I had chronic pain due to scar tissue and nerve damage. I needed weekly chiropractic & neuromuscular therapy to be able to walk. After 3 sessions of FSM the change in my feet was so profound that even my chiropractor was astounded. Instead of the cold, stiff boards he was used to adjusting, my feet were warm, soft and pliable. After a few more FSM sessions my feet no longer needed chiropractic care, and have not since.

I became certified in FSM even though I was not permitted to use any type of electrical stimulation device as a massage therapist in MA. Fortunately, my chiropractor allowed me to do FSM under his chiropractic license, which resulted in many patients getting relief from pain that had improved yet never fully resolved with neuromuscular therapy, chiropractic, etc. Excited by the field of electromagnetic therapies and wanting to pursue my passion for providing pain relief, I returned to Colorado Springs, where the use of FSM is permitted for CO licensed massage therapists.
